16th – 18th October, Sabah, Malaysia
Wild Asia’s Responsible Tourism Initiative will be at this year’s APECO, the 8th Asia Pacific Ecotourism Conference. The event will be held between the 16th and 18th October 2014, at Kota Kinabalu’s The Pacific Sutera Hotel, Sabah, Malaysia.
APECO is a prominent ecotourism event in the Asia Pacific where ecotourism academicians and industry experts from the Asia Pacific region congregate to network and exchange views on ecotourism, conservation, garden heritage, coastal forests, marine life and community based projects.
Wild Asia’s Amy McLoughlin will be speaking as part of the pre-conference workshops on how to align ecolodges and other accommodation to international responsible tourism standards. She’ll be showcasing best practice case studies we’ve encountered, especially through our annual Wild Asia Responsible Tourism Awards.
To register for the event, please visit the APECO website here.
